Beer Festival

The organising committee have arranged a beer festival for the Saturday evening to be held at the Ramada Hotel. The event will start at 7.30 p.m. and there will be a selection of Real Ales. Food will not be served but there will be a selection of nibbles available. The specially selected Ales will come from the Derbyshire Brewers Collective which represents 14 breweries throughout Derbyshire.

Also available for consumption or takeaway purchase on the night will be a specially labelled Central Council bottled beer. You have an opportunity to name the beer! On the Beer Festival booking form you will see a box for your suggested name for this beer. All forms received by the 28th February 2010 with this box completed will be entered into a competition to name the beer. The organising committee will select a name from those entered and as well as having the satisfaction of your chosen name being on the beer the winner will also receive free entry to the festival. (Entry fee will be refunded on the night.) In the event of two or more people making the same name selection and that name being deemed most appropriate by the committee then a draw will be made to determine the winner. The committee's decision on this naming will be final.

If you are staying at the Derby Conference Centre there will be a limited minibus service between the two venues for those who don't want to take in the Derby air on the way between.
